Weather & Saftey Issues:
We all know that weather in Colorado is day to day. The average low temperature on January 19 is 15 degrees and the average high temperature is 45 degrees. There may be snow or ice on the course, there may be rain, it may be muddy and it may be perfect. The race will be run no matter the weather conditions.

Chatfield State park is a multi-use park that can see a lot of foot, bike, horse and vehicular traffic. However, in January, this traffic is fairly light.
